Today the Volvo Car Corporation has its headquarters in the Swedish town of Gothenburg and is a brand produced by the Chinese automaker Geely. In the 1960s and the 70s the models P120, P140, P1800 and the Volvo P1800 ES followed, the latter being nicknamed “Snow White’s Coffin” due to its striking glass tailgate. Volvo is especially well-known for the models from the 80s and 90s, the series 700 and 900. Volvo has brought the S60, S80 and the V70/XC70 models onto the market.
