MITSUBISHI original car spare parts

A brief history of the car manufacturer Mitsubishi

Today's Mitsubishi Motors Corporation, headquartered in Japan's capital Tokyo, was a member of the Mitsubishi Group until the end of World War II. The Mitsubishi Group formed a conglomeration of over 200 companies until its failure in many industry sectors. Production of Mitsubishi cars began in 1917 with the Model A. Japan’s first car produced in a series. In the 1930s, the company introduced a diesel engine with direct injection, as well as the prototype of a four-wheel drive car. In the 1950s, Mitsubishi produced first the model number A10/500. The subcompact models Colt 600 and Minica, which were presented in 1962 and 1964, introduced the brand for the first time to a wider circle of buyers. The mid-size cars Galant and Lancer followed them a few years later. These models were developed over several generations of vehicle and are still today produced in part under these names. 1982 saw the start of production of the SUV, the Mitsubishi Pajero, and in 1992 the sports car Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution was introduced. In April 2005 a cooperation with Peugeot and Citroën was agreed, and shortly after Mitsubishi teamed up with Hyundai and the former DaimlerChrysler group to a joint venture; the Global Engine Manufacturing Alliance. In 2006, Mitsubishi was the sixth largest Japanese manufacturer after Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Suzuki and Mazda, in terms of production. Since then some of the newly featured Mitsubishi models are the SUV Mitsubishi ASX, the small car Space Star, as well as the electric city car Mitsubishi i-MiEV.

If you need to buy Mitsubishi spare parts yet?

Despite regular maintenance of the vehicle different parts can wear out or grow old and eventually must be replaced to ensure traffic safety and an optimal performance. Normal wear parts include the tires, brake and clutch linings, v-belt, spark and glow plugs or the car battery. The components of the exhaust system, engine cooling, and the body from corrosion damage are also often at risk, especially in older vehicles.

Do new Mitsubishi spare parts have to be expensive?

No, because instead of spending a lot of money on original Mitsubishi spare parts from a dealer or from a Mitsubishi accessories shop, you can buy all your required spare parts from us at affordable prices. Choose parts from our comprehensive Mitsubishi catalogue, with a large selection of OEM quality spare parts from leading manufacturers of high-quality auto parts.
